The Millhouse Lantern: The Millhouse style originated as simple protection for an oil lamp that could be hung on a bracket then taken down and carried by hand. The dome top allowed the rising heat to dissipate without overheating the handle. The CopperCabin electric version retains the Millhouse style and closely duplicates the soft light from an oil lantern when the recommended low watt lamp is used. Metal texture is smooth with peened edges. Access to lamp is through lift off front (Standard) or hinged front (Extra). Seeded glass only. Available
